SOOPR Podcast - Podcast audio IdentITY
Brief: Compose an audio identity for the SOOPR podcast series from the British Junior Cardiologists' Association.
The BJCA acts as a support system for trainee Cardiologists, developing courses, seminars & online resources specifically targeted to the needs of cardiology trainees.
The goal was to supply a simple but memorable audio ident, for use at the beginning and end of each podcast episode during the logo animation. The intention was to reflect the scientific and medical theme of the show with clean sine-wave tones being the basis of the melody, reminiscent of a heart monitor beep.
We also composed a loop-able backing track which could be used within the intro and outro segments, maintaining the minimal ‘medical’ theme and incorporating a soft beat inspired by a beating heart.
